“CFR’s Family Aviation Day is an opportunity for families to enjoy airplane rides around town, eat local food, enjoy kid’s activities, and shop with local vendors,” explains Stephanie Matthews, Community Partnership Coordinator for the non-profit radio ministry and the event.

In plans for the event are rare and novel airplanes for viewing and numerous personal aircraft and pilots providing 15-minute flights around the area for a requested donation of $40 for adults and $25 for children up to 12. Families of 4 or more can fly for less.

The station is collaborating with Turning Point at Sonrise ministry and the Bowling Green Warren County Regional Airport to host the event.
