A note from our Festival beneficiary, Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky: At Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky (JASCKY) we aim to empower students through education so they feel fully confident that they can and will succeed in life beyond the classroom. Junior Achievement (JA) is the world’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. Our programs are delivered by real world community volunteers, and provide relevant, hands-on experiences that give students from kindergarten through high school knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness and
entrepreneurship. During the 2016-2017 school year we served almost 11,000 students throughout Allen, Barren, Logan, Simpson, and Warren counties. We are able to provide JA programs to the students of our community through the continued support of our dedicated volunteers, partners, donors, and Board of Directors. For more information on JASCKY and how you can get involved please visit www.jaforkids.com.
