DASK: Divorced And Separated Koinina
4 March 2019

DASK (Divorced And Separated Koinonia) is a weekend retreat experience designed specifically for divorced people which gives participants the opportunity to share with brothers and sisters in Christ who have been through or are going through the same experience. Participants are reminded that Christ shares our dying and will lead us to resurrection, that we are loved by God, and that we are full members of the Body of Christ. We also come to understand that as members of that body, we are called to go forth and be Christ in the world. We are reminded that we are not abandoned by God or by the Church. Koinonia means “community,” so on a DASK weekend we remember what it means to live in Christian community.
