Born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA and Brandi always knew she wanted a career in Journalism. She majored in Journalism and minored in Creative Writing. She also took Screenwriting classes in college as well as attending The Academy of Radio & Television Broadcasting where she graduated from the Television & Video Production program. Not long after graduating, Brandi started working for AirWatch Clear Channel Traffic where she reported news, traffic, and weather for Los Angeles stations like KIIS-FM, KBIG-104.3, KGGI, K-DAY and others. In 2006 God opened a door for Brandi at Christian radio station Family Friendly 89.7 KSGN where she held positions as News Director, Music Director, Morning Show Producer, Mid-day host, and half of the Bryan & Brandi Morning Show. In 2018 Brandi graduated from Water Of Life School of Ministry and was ordained. Brandi speaks nationally at Women’s events and conferences. She has been a wife, single mom, foster mom and MéMé (grandma in French) Brandi Lanai’s mission is encouragement. She is so grateful to God for the platform HE has given her to encourage others daily to seek HIM, trust HIM, and find joy in HIM no matter their current situation in life. Brandi truly believes that there is something to celebrate in every day and stands on her “life verse” Exodus 14:14 “The Lord your God will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
