Don’t think you could ever drive a school bus? Come find out!

Barren County Transportation is inviting YOU to TAKE THE WHEEL!

Saturday, November 7th

8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Barren County Bus Garage

We know one of the biggest things that keeps people from considering becoming a school bus driver is simply fear of driving such a large vehicle.

So forget the applications and the “Could I really do this?” for a minute…

COME DRIVE ONE.

If you have a valid driver’s license, we’ll give you the opportunity to get behind the wheel, drive through a mini course, get a feel for the size of the bus, and see what driving one is actually like.

You won’t know until you try!

If you have served or are currently serving in any branch of the military, please make plans to join us Friday, November 12th at 6pm at Hillvue for Night of Honor. A free meal will be served to you and one guest. Please register at hillvue.com

Let’s get crafty! This annual event features skilled artisans and crafters, showcasing a wide variety of handcrafted items, including woodcrafts, holiday decorations, quilts, jewelry, floral arrangements, paintings, candles, pottery, embroidery, specialty foods, and so much more!

We’ve expanded this year! We’ll have vendors on the first and third floors! Now with nearly 350 booths and over 200 vendors to explore – it’s our biggest show ever! It’s the perfect opportunity to find something unique for yourself or get a jump start on your holiday shopping!

Show hours are: Friday, November 13 from 2PM to 7PM Saturday, November 14 from 9AM to 6PM Sunday, November 15 from 11AM to 4PM

Admission is $3 for Adults per day or $5 for a Weekend Pass. Children 12 and under will be admitted free. The first 100 shoppers each day will receive a FREE Kraftucky tote bag! Tickets will be sold at the door only

SAVE THE DATE for our hugely popular annual Christmas Bazaar!

Always the second Saturday in November, always only handmade items, always a lot of fun, especially with the live Christmas music!
Buy gifts from our amazing vendors, enjoy breakfast or lunch at our Bazaar Cafe, grab goodies from our bake sale, find secondhand treasures at Grandma’s Attic, and don’t forget our Silent Auction, which returns this year.

All proceeds fund Christ Women’s Ministries’ mission projects. See the list and more information here: https://christchurchbg.org/ministries/women/

Please note: the only way to be added as a vendor is to contact the church directly! You can reach us at info@christchurchbg.org or at 270-842-4343.

2000 boxes of meals packed in 2 hours and your volunteering makes it possible.

Our signature community event, this event is going into it’s fourth year.  We are planning to prepare 2,000 boxes this year for all our local school partners and our regional RASK partners.  This event has team lead and multiple sub-team positions.  There is something for everyone as part of this event.
