Cash Express is hosting its 14th annual coat and toy drive to benefit families in the community. They are collecting toys, coats, washable shoes, clothing, and nonperishable food items in many local drop off locations. All donations must be received by December 9 to deliver them before Christmas!
Come by any time to pick up an angel card to purchase gifts for those on the angel list. Place unwrapped gifts in a gift bag and attach the angel card.
All gifts will be due back to Kathy Ford by Friday, December 7.
It’s the 25th year of Operation Christmas Child! This Samaritan’s Purse ministry will be collecting shoe boxes filled with gifts for children in need around the world. Collection Week is November 12-19! For more information including drop off locations, visit samaritanspurse.org/occ!
Help end hunger and homelessness in Warren County. Lunch can be dine in, take out, or delivery! All deliveries must fall within Bowling Green city limits and need to be purchased by November 12th. Take out orders can be purchased in advance or at the door.
Tickets go on sale October 1st. Early bird special for all tickets purchased in October is $8 per person. Tickets purchased in November will be $10 per person.
At the Ignite Conference, celebrate and learn about what God is doing in our backyard and around the globe. During this event, learn from missionaries, church planters, and leaders who serve in local, national, and international ministries. Keynote speaker is J.D. Payne, associate professor of Christian Ministry at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
Tickets cost $20. They cover event registration, lunch Saturday, and a conference booklet.

“All children should have a warm coat.” Avenue Church is having a Children’s Coat Giveaway for all school-age children in Glasgow/Barren County on Saturday, November 17, 2018, from 9:00-12:00. Children grades preschool through high school will be provided with a coat, hat, scarf and gloves.
A benefit gospel singing and auction will be held Saturday, November 17 at 5 PM at the Allen County Civil Defense Building, 530 Bluegrass Dr., Scottsville, KY. The singers will include The Turner Family, The Kinslows, and Andy Turner. Donations will be received for Jim and Sandra Moore. He is battling cancer and is unable to work. An auction will be held. Soup, chili, finger foods, etc., will be served for a donation.
The Cherry family puts on a Christmas light show that is FREE to the public. The lights come on automatically EVERY night in December from 5-9 p.m., even on the weekends! You can come and park across the road (by the DITTO sign) and tune your radio to 88.7 FM to listen to the music. On Friday and Saturday nights, the Cherrys also have a walk through in their backyard, plus FREE cookies, coffee, hot chocolate, candy canes, and popcorn. This year, all donations go to Christian Family Radio!
Santa will be here on December 15th at 6 p.m. for FREE pictures. Just bring a camera or your phone. Merry Christmas and God bless you!

Participants are encouraged to come dressed in Christmas attire (ugly sweaters, Santa hats, bells, fun socks, etc.). Prizes awarded to best dressed and various race winner divisions. Visit with Santa, enjoy hot chocolate, and win prizes as we kick off the Christmas season.
