Sometimes you can learn what a child will grow up to do by watching how they play and what they play with. My wife used to line up her dolls and pretend to teach them, and later she became a teacher. I used to play with teenage mutant ninja turtles, so naturally I’m a ninja in training. Just kidding… I did also record myself talking into a voice recorder with a microphone. I didn’t realize I wanted to make radio my career until college where I studied broadcasting and journalism. That’s the time of my life where I really learned what it means to have a relationship with God. He turned my passion from radio to Christian radio, and I have pursued it ever since.
My family and I are from Texas, we lived in Ecuador for a few years, and now make Kentucky our home. So, we like variety. We also love being outdoors, camping, swimming, and playing games. When the temps drop you’ll most likely find me sipping a cup of hot chocolate. But not coffee. NEVER coffee. Ha! Sharing our journey with God (struggles, mistakes, and how God used them) with each other is important, and I’d love to hear yours.
