Focus on the Family Air Time Change: Now at 6:00 AM
We’re grateful for the opportunity to air Focus on the Family each weekday and to continue our partnership in sharing wisdom and encouragement for families. This program covers relevant, thoughtful, and much-needed topics—and we’ve heard from many of you just how helpful it’s been over the years.
Why We’re Making the Change
As Christian Family Radio has grown into a station that’s primarily music-driven, we’ve been evaluating how to best serve you, our listeners. Through listener research—including focus groups and surveys with nearly 300 participants—it became clear that our audience expects uplifting music and friendly conversation, especially in the mornings.
While the content of Focus on the Family is important, some episodes—particularly those dealing with sensitive topics like sex, sexuality, abortion, and human trafficking—can feel unexpectedly heavy during the morning commute.
What This Means for You
To better align with your morning routine, Focus on the Family will move to a new air time of 6:00 AM, starting June 9, 2025. This shift gives space for meaningful discussion while preserving the musical flow and tone of the rest of the morning.
You can still listen to the evening broadcast at its regular time of 6:00 PM.
