Dealing with Loss

The loss of a loved one is a profound experience that affects both adults and children. Recognizing the
need for a supportive environment to navigate these challenging times, Hospice of Southern Kentucky
(HSK), in partnership with Kentucky Kids on the Block (KYKOB), has developed a comprehensive
training program specifically for children between the ages of 6-12 and their parents or guardians.
This program is a beacon of hope and understanding, guiding families through the process of grieving with compassion and shared wisdom.

2024 Session Dates:
July 25th, 5:00 – 6:00 PM
October 24th, 5:00 – 6:00 PM

Interactive Class: hands-on approach to learning about grief and healing
Suitable for children in grades K-6th.
Follow-up Activity: Post-program activities will be conducted by HSK to reinforce learning and provide additional support.
Snacks: Light refreshments will be available to ensure a comfortable experience for all participants.
